Since the 1988 Crown Victoria model had a quite major change such as the removal from pervious model of the two-door coupes a line, and a slight restyling which included a more aerodynamic, slightly rounded front end and new wraparound taillights. Whitewall tires and intermittent windshield wipers were standardized in this model, thus giving the Ford Company a little reason to change anything for the 1989 Crown Victoria. With regard to engine performance, still, the power of the previous Crown Vics was carried over giving the 1989 Crown Victoria model the quality performance that is usually expected of it.
